Thinking about UTA?

If you're thinking about going to the University of Texas at Arlington, PLEASE do your research.

I went there for one year and it was a great school. I met some cool people. I don't remember too much violence.

UTA is probably a wonderful institution of higher learning.

But lately, Arlington is, for the most part, horrible.

There's some type of crime reported there almost every day. There has been a few incidents on campus. Arlington is like, an aspiring Oak Cliff.

So, research the news in Arlington and see if you want to live in a "dangerous" town. If you still aren't convinced, I'd suggest staying of the streets at night, keeping your doors and windows locked well, don't open the door for strangers, and/or getting a security system.... or a gun.
