Does anyone else think the internet is when society started to take a plunge?

I concur that the internet has done SO MUCH good in the world. But with the good is like, double the bad. Think about it....

Then again..
Bless the internet, therefore I wouldn't have met my husband.... I know, shock and awe all you want, I'll wait..

And what's with the sites dedicated to meeting people ("friends")? Have we become such prisoners of our home that the only way we can (perhaps comfortably) meet people, we do it all on the internet. We have hundreds of "friends," but they're on the internet and we probably haven't met half of them.

Is it the beginning of a race of people with social disorders?
