- The defining years of my teenagerhood had Ricochet, Diamond Rio, Ty Herndon, and Shania Twain playing in the background. I LOVE 90s country music. This new stuff is okay, SOME of it is really well-written. But I miss the certainity of hearing a fiddle and a steel guitar. What happened to the steel guitar??
