One day, one of our instructors said that most students in the program gain at least 10 pounds while in the program.
Excuse me? I don't think so.
But I can see how it would happen. I've been so BAD for MONTHS and luckily, I have only gained 1-2 fluctuating pounds since summer. After losing 25 pounds, I don't want 10 more back.. I don't want any back. I look so much better, just after 25 pounds.
Soooo.... When evaluating my schedule, the only time I have to work out is probably before I go to school. I already get up around 5am every morning. To work out, I'd just need an hour, so I would need to get up around 4am. What's one more hour, right?
Don't look at me crazy like that! I already get up at 4am on Fridays for Clinicals. I'm about to get up at 4am three days a week so what's the holdup? I might as well start now. Plus, to get the best sleep, you're allegedly supposed to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
I've figured that I could lose about 30 pounds by Spring Break when I hope to go to Colorado (fingers crossed! fingers crossed! fingers crossed!). I'd love to look better in a snow suit next year.
In other news, I've signed up for participation in the Sputum Bowl. I was all, "Yeah, I'll be an alternate. It's cool." Now I've discovered there are too many Alternates in the kitchen so I may end up being one of the "star players."
Still just taking this thing one day at a time. One test at a time. One check-off at a time. Mentally preparing myself for one Clinical at a time. I've been having a good time and learning lots, just want to learn and see more.
Still a nerd after all these years.
Anywho, I'll update on how the 4am Workouts go. Peace out!
