Mmm!

Today, I present the prediction of the extinction of the phrase "Tastes just like MOM used to MAKE IT."

I think this generation won't ever use this phrase. Maybe "Mmm, tastes just like Mom used to add in frozen mixed vegetables into the Tuna Helper," or, "Mmm, reminds me of when Mom used to order pizza."

There has been the creation of those businesses where you pick up all the fresh ingredients and go home and cook dinner yourself. I think that phase might have passed.

I really hope that phrase doesn't go away and become as taboo as the Pledge of Alligance. I hope the Food Network can keep our cooking dreams alive.
