Dr Bubbles

There is a doctor in this hospital whose only role is to tend to patients admitted to the hospital. She has TONS of patients.

Most times, when you think of Doctors, you think of professionally dressed, presentable characters in white coats with a clipboard and a pen.

But this Doctor, who we’ll call “Dr. Bubbles,” is so unlike a doctor it’s frightening.

Whenever I see her out and about in the hospital, she immediately reminds me of a 20something (and she has made herself look like it) college girl, and I always remind myself, “Oh wait, that’s Dr Bubbles.” Her hair is done in a way where it looks like she has this little wild ponytail on top of her head. She wears distracting tops and designer jeans. I’ve heard her breasts are fake. The only thing she’s missing is a nose piercing and a giant margarita.

I hope she wears her white coat to see patients. A majority of these patients are elderly. They want the facts. They don’t want some young, inexperienced Doctor. This is what she looks like. I wonder if all her patients take her seriously.

I’m sure she’s pretty cool. She’s seen around with and conversing with the “lowly” employees; the techs, clerks, etc.

There’s a picture of her from the past where she looks a little fluffy. She might have been pregnant, who knows. Anyway, I think she might have had a dramatic body change, reconstructed breasts, and got a new lease on living.

But when I see her, it just annoys me a little.

Then again, maybe we need more “down to earth” doctors like that around. I’m sure there will be many after the old, ho-hum doctors retire.

Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?
