The Ultimate Price

Talk about paybacks.

Even though Husband didn't know his wife was actually cheating on him, Wife got her punishment when she was sentenced to prison time for ultimately getting her Boyfriend killed by even more lying.

When I first saw this story on the news tonight I thought, "Why isn't this guy (Husband) in jail? He's the one who pulled the trigger."

But now that I understand it better, I see the punishment fits the crime. If I cheat on my husband and then get in the car with my boyfriend, say, "Oh, yeah, he was trying to rape me" and my husband shoots my boyfriend "in defense" of me and it turns out to all be one big rubberband ball of lies, I deserve to do time for causing my boyfriend's death.

We all make mistakes. Ladies, let this be a lesson to you.

I wonder, if Wife hadn't cried rape and just let Husband know right then that Boyfriend was a boyfriend and not a rapist, would Wife have got a bullet too?

Hmm..
