My First Days

YAY!! I’ve started RT school!

I observed that this will be very challenging. I want to stay on top of things. I hope I study well!

The 2nd year students came in to answer our questions. When asked if they were afraid they wouldn’t find jobs, they ALL said getting a job was definitely not an issue.

I learned from them and my instructors effective ways to study.

I found that I’m one of a few who are interested in NICU.

The people in my class seem okay. There’s a couple girls who always find the most inappropriate times to carry on whole conversations and that’s tremendously annoying. Then there’s other people who seem kinda stuck up or something, but I know we’ll get used to each other in time. We’re all gonna be together for 2 whole years.

A lot of people in class totally freak out when “math” is mentioned. Or when they see something crazy in the notebooks. They get all hot and bothered over the littlest things.

Am I just really laid back or am I missing something?

Oh, and even though we don’t have to show up at an actual hospital for actual clinicals for 6 weeks, we still have to be at school (or some other non-clinical related place) at 0630. Blah!

I’m thankful that, at this moment in time, my biggest challenge in school is being able to decide on what to wear each day. Because I know that soon, I’ll have much bigger fish to fry....

you'll definitely get sick of math. Good luck.
